| Thousands of African Americans made the bi-annual trip to this year's Jan 11-13 African American Health Summit held at the Oakland Marriott City Center and the Oakland Convention Center. Congratulations to the many community partners responsible for hosting the 3rd successful African American Health Summit. |
The theme for the Health Summit was "Strengthening Our Relationships" and it appears to have accomplished that as African Americans of all ages from the Bay Area, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Fresno and San Diego participated in health promotion activities during the expanded three day Summit. |
