The Bay Area Black United Fund gratefully acknowledges our significant partnerships with various corporations in the Bay Area. The generous contributions of the following corporations have enabled BABUF to work in the community in the following areas within the last year:
- Present the 2003, 2005 and 2007 Bay Area African American Health Summits to address the health disparities among Bay Area African Americans and provide them with culturally inspired options for health and wellness.
- The Fund Raising Support program that offered technical assistance and funding to community based agencies providing services to troubled families and fostering youth empowerment and development.
- A Health Initiative program to address issues raised in forums at the summits ( i.e. CMHC, yoga fellowships).
